Harmonic Therapy with Himalayan Singing Bowls
In a harmonic therapy session, the client lays on a massage table with metal bowls placed around, under and sometimes on them. The bowls are rung in harmonic sequences, gently guiding the mind into a variety of sub-conscious states. From these coherent states the mind has the space to accept and release mental and emotional triggers of stress, fear, anxiety and disease. As an independent therapy it enhances relaxation, sharpens focus and can lead to a cessation of symptoms. As an adjunct to other therapies it enhances and speeds the healing process. It is common, in these sessions, for clients to fall into a deep and relaxing sleep, awakening at the end of the session alert and renewed. The bowls used in these sessions are all antique instruments ranging in age from 50 to 100 + years old.
